Paper

The quality of paper can make or break the invitation. I use only the finest papers to ensure the quality of your invitation. The type of paper used will depend on the printing method. Paper comes in a wide selection of colors and whites. Keep in mind that ink colors will vary slightly if you choose to go with a color.

Embellishments

Embellishments allow you to put the final touches on your invitation. From adding a distinctive envelope liner to a pocket fold that keeps your invitation suite neatly together, the possibilities are endless.

Here a few things to think about adding to complete the look:

  • Pocket folds
  • Envelope liners
  • Address labels
  • Ribbon
  • Rounded corners
  • A monogram
  • Matching stamp

Printing Method

Pretty Ink Designs offers four different types of printing methods. Examples are available upon request.

Letterpress– This is the oldest type of printing and my personal favorite. It leaves an impression on the paper.

Offset– A more affordable option, often referred to as flat printing because nothing is raised or indented on the paper.

Thermography– An option between letterpress and offset. It is raised on the surface of the paper and has a glossy appearance to it. Often used as an alternative to engraving.

Digital Press– Like offset, but more affordable. Only available for Baby announcements and social invitations.
